Cheddar Arts Fringe Festival - Calling all Singers!

April 27, 2016
  • On Sunday 1st May, the children have been invited to sing as part of the Family Service and Cheddar Arts Fringe Festival (CHAFF) at St Andrew’s Church, Cheddar. We would like as many of the children as possible to join us at the church to sing a song to the congregation. If you would like your child to be a part of this event and are able to bring them down to the church at 10am, then please sign and return the slip from the link below if you haven’t already done so.

Also as part of this event, the children have been delighted to work with local sculptor Ella Phillips who came to the school recently to demonstrate her clay throwing skills. Every child then made a special ceramic ‘pebble’ and these have now been put together to create a whole school installation for the Cheddar Arts Fringe Festival. Through the work the children explored the theme that everyone is special & different and we hope that the installation will mirror this.

We hope that many of you will go along to the exhibition, which will be held on 29th April – 2nd May in St. Andrew’s Church, Cheddar as part of the CHAFF trail. However if you miss it we hope to move the installation back to school and perhaps other venues after the CHAFF event.

    Hope to see you there!
